Gaming is meant to be fun, not stressful. Responsible gaming at Habaji means understanding your budget, taking breaks when needed, and making sure play always stays entertainment. We're with you every step of the way.
Habaji's Responsible Gaming Tools
Responsible gaming means treating gaming as a form of entertainment, not a solution to financial problems. At Habaji, we believe the game is truly enjoyable when you play with a clear head and within your means.
Responsible gaming is a core principle at Habaji — not just because of regulations, but because we genuinely care about our members' wellbeing. That's why we've built a suite of tools and features to help you stay in control of your play.
Remember — chasing losses by placing bigger bets is never a sound strategy. Every game outcome is completely random (governed by RNG), so past results have no effect on future ones. Stick to your set budget and keep gaming what it should be: a source of fun.
The first rule of responsible gaming: set your budget before you play and only wager what you can afford to lose. Accepting losses gracefully is the mark of a responsible player.
Tools we provide to help you stay in control
Set a daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limit from your account settings. Once the limit is reached, no further deposits can be made automatically. Lowering your limit takes effect immediately; increasing it takes 7 days.
Decide in advance how long you want to play. When the time is up, the platform will alert you and can automatically end your session if needed.
You can set a loss limit — once you've lost a certain amount, no further bets can be placed. This protects you from significant losses.
If you need a short break, set a cool-off period of anywhere from 24 hours to 30 days. You can still log in during this time, but placing bets will be disabled.
Close your account for anywhere from 6 months to 5 years, or permanently. During self-exclusion, the account cannot be reopened under any circumstances. We fully respect this decision.
If you have any concerns, contact the Habaji support team. All conversations are fully confidential. We don't judge — we're here to help.
Habaji's responsible gaming tools are simple to use. Just log in to your account and activate any feature from the Settings menu.
Log in to the Habaji website or app. Click your profile icon in the top menu.
Select the "Responsible Gaming" option from the profile menu.
Deposit limit, session timer, cool-off period, or self-exclusion — choose whichever works for you.
Enter your preferred limit or duration. Once confirmed, the change will take effect immediately.
Watch out for these warning signs. If you notice any of the following behaviors in yourself or someone close to you, seek help:
Repeatedly spending beyond your set budget or trying to borrow money to keep playing.
Placing bigger bets after a loss in an attempt to recover your money is a dangerous cycle.
Hiding your gambling habits from family or friends, or lying about them.
Feeling restless or irritable when you can't play, or struggling to focus on daily tasks.
Gaming causing tension or conflict with family or friends.
Ask yourself the following questions. If you answer "yes" to more than three, speak with Habaji support or a professional:
Do you often end up spending more than you planned and regret it afterward?
After a loss, do you find yourself betting more to try to win it back?
Have you tried to stop playing but found you couldn't?
Have you ever lied to family or friends about your gambling?
Have you borrowed money or dipped into savings to fund your play?
Do you feel irritable or uneasy when you're unable to play?
If you answered yes to three or more questions, activate self-exclusion now and contact our support team. The first step is the hardest — but it's also the most important.
Here's what experienced, long-time Habaji members consistently practice:
Set your budget before you play
Decide before you start exactly how much you're willing to spend today. Once you reach that amount, stop.
Set a timer
Avoid playing for more than 1-2 hours in a single session. Set a timer on your phone to help.
Play with a clear head
Avoid gaming when you're feeling angry, stressed, or depressed.
Treat winnings as a bonus
Think of gaming as an entertainment expense — a win is a bonus, a loss is the cost of the fun.
Take regular breaks
Keep at least one or two days each week completely free from gaming.
If you have concerns about your gaming, don't be embarrassed — reaching out for help takes courage. The Habaji support team is available 24 hours a day.
If you feel your gaming is getting out of hand, activate self-exclusion right now from your account settings.
